Halide Group, Inc. was founded in 2002 and its principals and staff collectively have more than 50 years of experience in fluorine and fluorine related chemistries and processes.
Working closely with our customers and utilizing the skills of our partner companies, we are a highly diversified provider of chemical process design, research and development, and engineering services for applications requiring or related to:
Particularly for large commercial plants we work closely with our customers in order to understand their requirements and provide lowest cost options: The lowest cost options could include (a) process and engineering specifications for the plant to be built, (b) build and supply chemical process equipment manufactured in the US, (c) work with our clients to manufacture at their preferred geographical locations using their preferred vendors or fabricators, (d) provide plant start-up services.
We are unique in the services we provide because, while access to the skill sets required to design, build and operate these plants is limited, we do not sell the chemicals that are produced using our processes. Thus, we can offer proprietary plant designs and services that current chemical manufacturers might wish remained unavailable so as to limit their competition, and our clients may be able to utilize geography or local siting to their competitive advantage. We are closely affiliated with an engineering and design company in order to supply our clients with what they need to be successful, from process design and up front engineering through detailed design, mechanical drawings and critical component manufacture, to on-site installation and start-up and commissioning support.
We are unique in the technologies we can offer, especially in fluorine and nitrogen trifluoride which no one else in the world can offer. We have designed several F2 and NF3 plants. Our design and engineering has been used to build world class F2 production and purification, electronic grade NF3 production, purification and packaging. These gases are used in electronic fabs that produce integrated circuits, flat panel displays and thin film photovoltaics.
